A Catholic Archbishop to lead post-war reconciliation efforts in Ivory Coast

Paul Ahouana is a Franciscan Archbishop of the country’s second city Bouake.  He was known for having opened dialogue with the rebels at a time when they were shunned by much of the clergy.
